Together, we seek the lost,
love the hurting,
and disciple believers to do the same

What does it mean to be [IN]?

There is a growing level of anticipation stirring in me for what God is doing in and through our church, especially in the next two years! I see evidence of how God is drawing us closer to Himself and working to make us genuinely more like the Lord Jesus. There is also greater clarity than ever before about where He is working, and how He invites us to join Him. I sense there are some unprecedented opportunities before us.

My challenge for you is to thoughtfully and prayerfully consider what it means to be fully [IN] – to respond to God’s graciousness by investing in things that matter for eternity. My desire is that His love would compel every one of us to be [IN] with His vision for Christ The Rock, our neighborhood, and our world.

[IN] it with you,

Pastor Bill Lenz

We Long to Reflect the Generous Heart of God

SINCE OUR BEGINNING OVER 30 YEARS AGO, God’s heartbeat for Christ The Rock has been reaching out to people with the incredible news that the God of the universe loves them. From our beginnings as a street outreach and crisis hotline, to our first days as a tiny church at Riverside Chapel, to the growth we experienced as God moved in the lives of thousands of people – every step has been paved by the deep desire to share the love of Christ with a world that needs it desperately

We are entering a new season at Christ The Rock, a time when we long to reflect the generous heart of God more deeply. Over the next two years, we hope to grow in the idea of radical devotion and generosity, with the goal of having a greater impact for Jesus in our Christ The Rock family, in our neighborhood and in our world.

Our conviction is that the [IN] Generosity Initiative will be a time of spiritual growth and tremendous impact as our church moves together to share His extravagant love. Our goal is that 100% of our church prayerfully participates in this journey. We hope that everyone who calls Christ The Rock their home would seek God and have a life-changing encounter with Him about trust and generosity.
